An exciting match

After a quick draw on board 4, Southbourne A took the lead following a well played by Anuhas on board 3. I was desperately short of time and took a perpetual on board 2 when 2 pawns up in a rook ending although Jacob had both of his rooks on the 7th rank and he had played well to get back in the game. The James v Finn game on top board looked complicated as he gave up his rook in the corner for lots of play and potential to win back some minor pieces. I did not see what happened but his activity proved too much although I suspect there may have been missed opportunities on both sides. A great first match and good luck to our fellow B team club members in their remaining matches.
