Closer than the score suggests as John came through a complex tactical battle and Steve only won when Tim with a material advantage tried to avoid a perpetual check but walked into a checkmate instead. Match played in a very friendly spirit.

New Milton march on

Top versus bottom and no upset. New Milton remain top and Wimborne C remain pointless. Jorgen did well to gain our solitary half point and Tim and Stephen's game did indeed have a surprise sting at the end that was unfortunate for Tim. Well done to New Milton who were excellent hosts. Their next match away at Bournemouth is a title biggie!
