A convincing victory for Wimborne going according to rating advantage. This unfortunately confirms New Milton relegation. On top board Ian found a sacrifice with his knight which gave long term advantage which eventually turned into a win. Mark on 2 had an exciting game which looked double edged but he found a cunning distraction move which forced the win. On 3 Eddie had control once he forced his passed d pawn up the board and Tim had very few squares for his remaining pieces and had to admit defeat. On 4 John and Stephen fought out a tough game which ended in peace with a draw.
