Another tough night of chess

Another tough night of chess at Bournemouth. First to finish was Board 3, Seb didn't feel he played badly just beaten by the better player on the night. On Board 4 Alan managed to push his g and h pawns deep into white's territory, and this proved decisive, I did hear Alan say " was a really good game" On Board 2 the opening was even (W +0.49) until move 21 when I completely missed Hugo's last move and blundered; leaving my bishop hanging, Hugo made no errors and deservedly went on to win with little trouble. Left to our top player Rob didn't disappoint on Board 1, in a game he described as "mad" with most of his pieces staying at home and a Knight dancing all over Liams queen side territory, eventually supported by his pawns, again this proved decisive to earn the win. Thank you to Ringwood for an enjoyable night of chess, and congratulations on their win.
