Malpas & Friends wish to contest this match. BBCA A must have known before the match started that they were lacking a board 1, yet they failed to change their board order and default bottom board in line with usual chess league rules. Malpas & Friends are requesting that this match be replayed.

Charles Tariq informed the league of our new player, FM Dmitrijs Tokranovs, at 4:15 pm today. We did not change our board order, and we were not lacking a board one. The fact that we were unable to add our board one into the site is irrelevant as the match still went ahead. In fact, all six games went ahead with the correct players, and were played fairly, with BBCA A winning 4.5-1.5. I am sorry but your statement does sound a lot like you are asking for the result to be set aside purely because (1) your team lost and (2) that you knew both of our teams were joint leaders of the division going into today, with only one match left to play in two weeks' time. On that basis, the result should be amended to 4.5-1.5 in favour of BBCA A, and should definitely not be set aside nor replayed.
