Board 6 player was Ishaan Jugar according to copy of our sheet can not enter this info Text sent to me at 12.21pm saying defaulting on 6 boards which I did not see until just before 1pm (as I was at work). Even a phone call would have been appreciated but a text was sent instead, but by then all of my players had already started out on their journeys. Note most of my team were on their way to the match around 12pm with our board 10 catching a train to reach the train station at Brentwood for a lift to the match. Please note that this player was not even allowed to stay despite having had to travel by train then by car to get to the match and play a graded game even though the person who gave him a lift (board 3) was playing. Luckily our board 7 went out of his way to take our player back to the train station. Otherwise he would have had to wait outside the venue for up to 6 hours to even get a lift home. Also all bottom 6 boards did not get a game due to their games being defaulted. If we had known this earlier then they would not have even started out on their journeys to get to the match. I was not at this venue due to not being allowed to be there as I was not playing in the team (acting captain was Board 3) and for some reason their captain was also not there? I will be finding out the expenses from my players who did not get a game as the opposing team said they would be happy to pay them.
