Max Papachristos on his first away match for Harrow D in Division 3 won his game by means of the rare arabian checkmate .His opponent James played very well throughout the match and took his defeat in good humour.Uxbridge D played very well on all boards considering they were so highly outgraded on each one and the match was much closer than the score suggests.The Ivy Leaf Social Club upstairs was the venue which was also served by a pub downstairs just what you need after a hard fought match.
