Potential penalty game point
The University gave me just over 6 hours notice of the default. The MCF website rules require 24 hours notice, but appears to require updating for changes since the last AGM. However, I note from the AGM minutes that a game penalty point will still apply if the R&R secretary was also not notified more than 6 hours before the match time. If that were the case the match would be drawn.

Match adjustment
Although the captain was informed of the default in time, R&R also needs to be informed of this as well. Hence a penalty point will be given to the University team.
