Comment for organiser
The Blue Club captain Harry Altoft notified my on Sunday, 17th November that he was struggling to raise a team but was still trying. He then let me know on Monday, 18th that he had been successful in raising a team for the match. Unfortunately on Wednesday morning before the match he notified me that one of the players was stuck in Coventry and would not be available and Blue Club would be defaulting the game on Board 6. I advised this would not be a problem as i would have been playing on Board 6. Therefore I do not think Blue Club should be penalised other than having to default board 6 as Harry had made every effort to raise a full team.Board 6
I have altered the result to the correct format for defaults
I think for the record it's important to add that there has been snow and ice this week, making travelling very difficult, so I can see an argument for not imposing a penalty in the circumstances
Penalty clarification
There will be no extra penalty as there has been plenty of notice given by Blue Club of the possibility of players not being available
