Losing to ABI/Zurich in their opening match loosened JTW/Cornhill's grip on the Insurance Chess Club Shield. This defeat tore the trophy from their grasp. JTW/Cornhill, holders for the previous 3 seasons, are left to lick their wounds - will they retain the Bowring King? PIFC/Wiltshire's excellent win sets them up nicely for their clash with the Ombudsmen next week.
