League leaders, RBS/Americans, showed some human frailty in a match they could easily have lost. The Ombudsmen are first to complete their campaign (by dint of the JTW/Cornhill match being brought forward and a bye in Round 11) and with a record of 4½/9 will gravitate to mid-table.
