Well played match from Petts Wood & Orpington 7 team, however I have a question about the time control. Why everyone else is playing 75 min. + 15 seconds per move and only home matches in Petts Wood & Orpington have a time control of 60 min + 15 seconds per move?
As a league every match should be played with the same time control!

Time controls
It is up to the home club to decide and is dependent on the home venues constraints. According to the Kent league rules (10e) the time allowed for a match will be 2.5hrs (thats 60+15) unless the captains agree otherwise. They can deviate up or down. However, the match must be at least 2 hours to comply with standard grading (thats 45+15) and most clubs try to fit 75+15 in the evening when appropriate. If you would like to check the rules (note: there are some parts that need an update to the new ECF grading) you can find them via the LMS website or directly here: https://www.kentcountychessassociation.org.uk/rules/

further thoughts on this
From what I recall Sidcup are the only club that use 60+15 for all matches, Petts wood use both - and I suspect the shorter control is reserved for matches involving their junior teams (who play at home) in the Intro, Tom Fuller, Harvey etc which seems entirely appropriate to me. At Beckenham and at Charlton, we both have a slightly earlier start at 19:30 to accommodate the 75+15. Most clubs have a hard stop in place (venue closure) where the game is adjourned and goes to adjudication if a result cannot be mutually agreed. Hope this helps.
