New player for Poulton-le-Fylde is M.McKeown New player for Morecambe is R.Moss. Ben finished first with a fine win against Norman. Peter and Alan on board three finished next with a draw. Glenn transposed into his favourite opening, gain a positional plus and it finished quickly when David missed a winning tactic. After an equal looking opening, Robin`s knight proved stronger than Michael,s bishop and Robin kept on improving his position until Michaels position collapsed. Last game to finish was an interesting rook and pawn ending, in which Michael was a pawn up, but Marina defended well and gained a draw.
