After a tense struggle on Board 1, Graham forced through 2 central pawns to secure the win. Dennis was the exchange down but had better development which gave him the edge. Board 3 was a long game with Colin's rook and knight winning a pawn advantage against Darren's rook and bishop. However Darren held on for a well deserved draw which secured the match. Marvin managed to squeeze Pat's rook and king into a corner but Pat found an attacking queen move which won out.
