Morecambe won on board count. Congratulations to Morecambe on a well fought match with some tough games going down to the wire. Although Poulton were out graded on all the boards, they put up some stiff resistance. There were some quick changes in fortune for both sides. On board one I played one quick move at the wrong time and my position fell apart in what was probably an equal position. On board seven, Paul offered a draw. This was declined and then Michael lost on time! On board two Oleg played a lovely endgame to beat John.
