Ombudsmen closed out the event in professional style, sharing the last round 2-2, not allowing ABI/Zurich to get any closer. Result: Ombudsmen 19-13 ABI/Zurich. For Ombudsmen, Julian Farrand finished with a clean score of 8/8, after one or two scares, but at blitz, you make your own luck. And for ABI/Zurich, Martin Page with 5/8 narrowly beat Tony Paish (4½/8) for the honour of highest scorer. (Sorry Martin only to have mentioned you in the three games you lost!)
