Dorchester arrived on the brink of lateness but no need to have worried the key to the Wimborne chess cupboard was unavailable. So Dorchester relaxed and Wimborne fretted. Someone with a key arrived and things got underway. The next few hours were only punctuated by Dorchester players resigning as Wimborne played steady, some might say unexciting, but mightily effective. Well done Wimborne.
