A very close match as the score suggests with all the games being closely fought.

Yes a good match between two well balanced sides; Weymouth had age and good looks on their side but this was counterbalanced by Purbeck heavily outgrading us!! Frank was in trouble early on and had to give up an exchange before he was overun by Steve. This was after Ronnie's usual draw on board 2 where the position was fairly stale. Steve and Derek agreed a draw soon after in a minor piece ending..................so it was down to our county champion Chris to pummel Nick into submission in a well crafted game where Nick's rook was affectively an onlooker and no time to get back and help his king...............well done Chris. Its looking like a three horse race now between Wimborne, Purbeck and Weymouth; all on 6 points..................Wimborne have yet to play either of the joint leaders so it'll be an interesting finish and probably down to the last games.
