Macclesfield's Missing Equipment
Macclesfield played with 30 minute reduction on time each, to compensate for the the 8:10 - 8:15pm start time, which is when they were able to provide equipment to play the match. I know the missing equipment was not the fault of the Macclesfield team captain, but it was frustrating nonetheless to wait so long to get going.
Thanks to Andrew Mowat for stepping in at short notice for Emmet Clarke, who had to pull out due to sickness. As it turned out, we could have done with an even stronger team!! All played in good spirit though.
