We needed a win to have a realistic chance to win the division. With 3 games finished the teams were tied on 1.5 each, leaving Joe and I playing to win the match. In a complicated game, in which I was 2 pawns up at one point, Joe achieved some counterplay. We reached a position, with about 25 seconds each on the clock, that looked level and agreed a draw. Well played Joe. The division title is now out of our hands and rests on Cheddleton's last game.
