Congratulations to all from Alsager on a very well deserved win on board elimination. Every game was hard fought but I think particular mention should go to Isaac who played very well and kept his calm to force a draw against me when he was a pawn down. That was the last game of the night to finish and everybody was aware of the impact of the result of it. On a final note I never knowingly miss an opportunity to promote our congress!!!! 37 days to go. It would be great if we could get some "early" entries so we can get a better idea of catering; room layout etc rather than everyone leaving it to the last few days.

Actually, Alssger won on board count - not board elimination. Board elimination is only used if the teams are level on board count.
