A heavy win for Ombudsmen 3½-½ finally broke the ABI/Zurich resistance and gave them a decisive advantage of 4 points with just 2 rounds to go. Martin Page once more left his king in check to a Farrand knight, though this time he was down by Q & Ps v R, 2Ns & Ps. Chris Tilson broke his duck. ABI/Zurich 10-14 Ombudsmen.
