Poole came with a very strong team meaning despite Bournemouth fielding a relatively strong team also the required winning score for Poole was 4-2. All games took a long time to conclude and it was a closely fought contest. Lee was first to finish with a win, follwed by Duggan. Ackerman then struck back for Bournemouth. This left Bournemouth requiring 1.5 points from the last 3 boards. Rob was down an exchange and all he could manage was to draw the game. I had gotten the better out of the opening, but this ended up equal but I couldn't prove it dynamically so Martin slowly took over. I had some last tricks to draw a pawn versus rook endgame, but he didn't fall for it so I ended up losing. This left Dennis needing to play for a win in a drawn position. He played on, but ultimately a draw was all that was there leaving Poole scraping the win. Well done to Poole.
