24 hours ago, Highcliffe only had three players, then Ringwood only had three, and Highcliffe now had 4 and Ringwood bluffed with a 2 player team on the night.
At 7:25 tonight, Ringwood's 2 players were there . Highcliffe also had 2, but not the 2 who were expected to play :-).
In the end, Highcliffe kindly loaned us Ron to make it a 3 board match. Ron was the first to finish showing little compunction in recording his debut Ringwood victory.
Next to finish was board 2, where Josh always seemed to be a bit better.
The final game was a Albin gambit where the white queen was chased round the board but seemed to find good squares to rest up on.
Thanks again Mike for the loan of Ron and a pleasure to visit Highcliffe.

Away win
despite the numbers it was played in good spirit - with some close matches - board 3 finished first black lost a pawn early in the exchanges and never recovered. Board always appeared to be on top and board one always seemed to be able to slip away to a win.
