We welcomed Ringwood for the rearranged match.
First to finish was board 3 where was a lot of attacking play with both sides threatening mate. Black managed to get the advantage but took a perpetual as all other games looked in favour of Wimborne.
William on board 2 had in his words a poor opening but found a sacrficial combination that gave him a big advantage and eventually this paid off.
On 4 Eddie had a quiet game against young Hugo but managed to get some play by attacking his opponents queen and won the exchange which led to a won endgame.
Allan on top board had a strangle hold against Graham and aftera long game the pressure told and Allan broke through with a winning passed pawn.
