I've added the result. The Wimborne player on board 6 was Ben ? drafted in on the night, and on board 5 was William Young (1200, the son of Simon).
Graham was very good in trying to match players in the his team for an even match and that is how it appeared to turn out at the conclusion. In truth, Ringwood got off to a flyer (3-2) and then had to watch the last two games very nervously as Wimborne looked to be much better on both. As it turned out, just as Peter Wilcock found a win on 5, Julian's resolute defence was rewarded with a draw on 4.
Honours and pizza were equally shared on an excellent summer evening. Thanks again to Graham for the "matching" in the match and of course, the pizza.
Ringwood is experiencing a little "ground envy" having now played in an outside venue with glass sides and roof. Suffice to say you are advised to bring your own water-proofs to our venue!
