Fenton Closing In At Top Of Division 2
Fenton 'A' have now edged to just a point behind last night's hosts, following their 3.5 - 1.5 win, but with 3 matches in hand. With 3rd placed Crewe 'A' suffering an unexpected 3 - 2 defeat at the hands of bottom of the table Cheddleton 'C', there is now clear daylight emerging between the top two teams and the chasing pack, with Fenton 'A' now 3 points clear of Crewe 'A', and also with 2 matches in hand.
