If you notice a problem with the LMS please look at this list to check that the problem has not been reported already. If you wish to report a new problem request a new feature please use the main Ask for help link.

Volunteers

Would anyone be interested in volunteering to:

  • Test changes to the system
  • Update the help files
  • Create new logins
  • Help new league organisers
  • Software development (needs good PHP skills and be willing to learn drupal)

LMS Features

  • Team captains login and update match results to which they have been given access. Players are selected from predefined drop down lists.
  • Can be used for Team Leagues, Team knockouts, Individual Swiss, Individual All play all.
  • League tables updated automatically
  • Administrators login to define the league structure, events, teams, number of boards etc.
  • Automatic generation of file for ECF grading
  • Automatic League Fixture generation taking into account dates to avoid and teams to avoid clashes with.
  • Reports to track games played by none-members, Late matches, adjournments. 
  • Keep track of club details, team captains, and all the information to manage your league

  • Link to change date added to event fixture list ( save as in Edit Fixtures ) 
  • Bug Fix - Number of times players play event setting was not saving properly
  • Bug Fix - Event Cross Table sometimes not showing all teams
  • Bug Fix - Player stats was not showing players who had played for more than 1 team in the event and also sort by performance was not working

There is a Wordpress plugin that uses the LMS API to display league tables and fixtures. It has been written by volunteer Duncan White who has also helped with the recent LMS development. 

  • Bug fix to plain pages and API match end point
  • Changes to view of match cards

  • Sort clubs by name order on admin/clubs and drop down
  • Sort player lists in Excel and PDF 
  • Increase field sizes to cope with long player names
  • Fix match card Excel, and put membership icon after home team names
  • Bug fix - club was showing as not set on player record
  • Stop mass email line breaks being removed.
  • Fix ICAL date format
  • Bug fix - sometimes incorrect ratings showing on match player drop-downs 
  • Add search by rating code when adding player to list
  • Only default the winner setting to draw in a match card if the score is not zero. Only set the reporter if there are some results.
  • Do not include fixtures with winner=None in league tables, enter results or Late matches report.
  • Show winner when viewing a match card.
  • Add an un-report button in match card admin to remove the reporter in a match which should not have one yet.
  • In Admin/Players, put the player lists tab first to avoid confusion.
  • Reset board numbers to fix bug in delete board in match card admin tab.
  • Bug fix - remove dupes in players in lists option
  • Bug fix - stop new players confirm form showing wrong game list.
